Daniel has spent 20 years reconnecting with the natural world.
Daniel Vitalis didn’t grow up hunting or foraging. He learned it all as an adult, one skill at a time, and he’s tried most of the protocols along the way. Over more than two decades he’s gone from raw-food vegan to forager to hunter, testing what humans actually need to thrive. He’s hosted three podcasts, founded Surthrival, and spent almost a decade hunting, fishing and foraging across the country for WildFed, including six seasons on Outdoor Channel.
