During the spring retreat, all of your meals are included and are prepared by professional Chef, Melissa Mango. All meals are organic or wild-crafted, locally grown and vegetarian. Raw/vegan choices are available at every meal.
Melissa has been a featured Executive Chef at The Raw Spirit Festivals. She has also been a recurring guest Chef on the super sleek “G Living” TV show. In 2006, she opened California’s first South Bay raw-vegan, eco-friendly cafe, Terra Bella Cafe. She has also been featured in “Get Fresh” Magazine. Feel the drum beat in your heart and the earth under your feet in this very special West African Dance inspired Earth Body Celebration. Jade fell in love with West African Dance when she was 15. In 2005 she realized her dream when she was invited to study with various teachers from the National Ballet of Guinea and with world-renowned teacher, Youssouf Koumbassa. In 2008, Jade returned to Guinea to study again with the National Ballet and also with world- renowned teacher Moustapha Bangoura. Jade has been teaching West African-inspired dance in Taos, NM, since 2002 and currently in Tucson, AZ, since 2007. Dancing Freedom with Ashley Klein
Ashley resides in Sedona, Arizona, where she facilitates Dancing Freedom, plays as a raw food Chef and Cafe Manager at ChocolaTree Organic Eatery and spends time with the sacred land. Her movement background ranges from ballet shoes to pom poms and includes a love for Brazilian and West African Dance. To Ashley, dance is home ~ a place of inner connection and outer expression of self and all that is. Ashley also has a background as a school psychologist, working with children, teens and young adults with special needs and loves sharing dance, yoga and exploration of the outdoors with these populations.
On the sacred land of Eden, Ashley invites you into the dance of self, of present-tense prayer, where body, heart and mind are all invited to play together, bridging the space of “practice” with the moment-to moment dance of life. Eden rejoices as we embody the elementals and listen to our truths as they arise through movement. Hoop Alchemy Playshop with KaRa (with sound alchemy by Jahsah)
Hoop Alchemy is the fusion of HoopDance, HoopYoga and Sacred Sound Meditation. The Hoop is an alchemical tool for transforming your body, mind, heart & soul. Through dance, yoga, meditation, sacred geometry, and conscious sound alchemy, we can transcend limits and experience bliss through devotion in motion in the Hoop flow.
As we dance, stretch, and play with the hoop, we create a moving mandala centering and balancing the flow of energy and light through our body and heart field. Through the healing sounds of didgeridoo, flute, drums, crystal bowls and conscious DJ-ing you will journey within the Hoop to realms of movement consciousness that are ecstatic and freeing!
KaRa has been facilitating HoopDance and HoopYoga workshops and events for 7 years. She is the facilitator of playful and intelligent Hoop workshops and retreats and presents workshops, events and demonstrations of the Sacred Hoop internationally as well as offering private classes. She loves dancing, meditating and playing with Hoops and has found a powerful personal resonance with the Hoop as a tool for alchemical transformation.
Jahsah brings his gift of sound healing and music to this Epic Eden playshop to create a fusion of live music and dance music to facilitate the spiraling bliss of the hoop. Jahsah is a multi-faceted transformational healer. He has been sharing his gifts internationally to support people in their awakening process for over 10 years. He is an accomplished musician utilizing the didgeridoo, drums, crystal bowls, flute, harmonica, bells, and gong for alchemical sound healing and activation through facilitating sound baths for individuals, groups, and events.

Abundant Earth Ceremony and Celebration with the Eden Tribe
This Spring at Epic Eden we will be celebrating the fertility and abundance of life on Earth with an Eden twist to a traditional Beltane ceremony. Beltane translates as “Bright Fire” in the Celtic language and serves as the welcoming festival to the flowering trees and plants all over the world. Beltane marks the passage into the growing season, the immediate rousing of the earth from her gentle slumber, a time when the pleasures of the earth and self are fully awakened. It signals a time when the bounty of the earth will once again be had. May is a time when flowers bloom, trees are green and life has again returned from the barren landscape of winter, to the trust of a bountiful harvest, and the lighthearted bliss that only summer can bring.
This time between Spring and Summer is an auspicious time to set your intentions and plant your seeds. At Epic Eden we will have the opportunity to literally seed the soil with our individual and collective intentions. We will collectively build and light a sacred fire and celebrate our interconnectedness with all life, through dance, prayer, laughter and play. Each one of us will weave a colorful fabric in this Abundant Earth Ceremony. Gabrielle Brick encompasses Teacher, Motivational Speaker, Lifestyle Consultant, and Entrepreneur. She has over 15 years experience in understanding the art of optimal nutrition and has studied with world renowned leaders in Nutrition, Psychology, Linguistic Programming, and Chinese Medicine.
Since her first trip to Eden Hot Springs over 5 years ago, Gabrielle Brick has served the land and guests in a variety of ways, Workshop Facilitator, Chef, Nutritional Consultant and Guests. This spring at Epic Eden we are honored to have Gabrielle holding space as a hostess, to support both guests and the land in a harmonious and joyful experience. With her devotion to service, expansion and self love combined with her choice to live each moment as a sacred ceremony, Gabrielle Brick is truly vital alchemy to the Epic Eden experience.
