Daniel. my name be joshua. will one normally find ants upon chaga as if the ants are sharing in the sugar production and or aiding the chaga in its ability to spread? i shall post a photograph of this. also, is there other species of chaga or similar relatives that have the same effects? one has been seeking out info all over, yet in the hawaiian islands it be hard to find good mushroom guides.

Daniel,
I am excited to share my latest forest hunting trip with you. With many people not sure what species of mushrooms they are finding, I'm uploading my videos to youtube (medicinehunter) to help others see where to find mushrooms and what they are finding. Its great to have a blog here to comment and discuss medicinal mushrooms. Would love to see you do a Wild retreat in the lakes and springs state of Minnesota!

Eric

Etienne,

I have and do eat raw meat, as well as cooked. Stray away is not really how I would describe it. After a decade of rawfoodism my personal experience led me to what I feel is the next level. I am now interested more in indigenous and traditional diets, diets that have stood the test of time. Rawfoods serves people for a while, especially to cleanse them of industrial pollution. I personally feel that there are many level one can advance beyond this approach.

There are reasons that there have never been vegan or rawfood cultures through time. Though there are strong intillectual argumants for this diets, long term experience does not support them.

My own diet has been in transition for 16 years. Every day I move more and more in the direction of our ancestors. My diet is as local and wild as I can manage.

When a persona begins working with traditional and wild foods heat treatment really starts to make some real sense. Of course when we live on foods from the supermarket, foods that have been hybridized to remove their medicines, many can be eaten raw.

Sometime in the future I will share more specifics on my own dietary strategies. My Invincible Health (www.invinciblehealthmastery.com) program details alot of this strategy.

More to come soon... What I will say is this... things are not what they seem, and much of the "healthy food" concepts that are around today turn out to be anything but...

Thanks so much for being present on this site!

Blessings!

Daniel, I was just reading through the comments and you mention not being a raw foodist. I know that you eat wild meat. Have you ever eaten it raw? If buying organic grassfed meats, do you cook them? Also, have you ever been a raw foodist? If yes, what made you decide to stray away?

I personally am VERY interested in your diet and how it has evolved from say 5 years ago. Is there anyway you could reveal this information some time?
